报告内容:

I decided to test for myself how distributed generation works on renewable energyin my small Homeland in Kaluga region. I have installed solar panels with an installed capacity of 32 kW in order to fully cover the need for electricity during a sunny day.

I share my first impressions - when you realize that the light bulbs in your house are burning from direct radiation from the sun, as a person who has devoted his whole life to the gas industry and energy, it leads to interesting thoughts. Coal, oil and natural gas are also solar energy, only accumulated in the bowels of the earth for hundreds of millions of years. To get electricity from them, resources had to be explored, mined, transported and transformed. All this is the colossal work of millions of people, huge costs and time. At the same time, the total efficiency in obtaining electricity from these primary energy resources does not exceed 15-20 percent. The rest is emissions of heat, carbon oxides and nitrogen into the atmosphere. Scientific and technological progress, the global trend and the trend towards decentralization and decarbonization of energy can no longer be stopped.

All of us, our country, the basis of the economy and the driver of development of which is energy, need to understand this, draw the right conclusions and make the right decisions. It is necessary not to lag behind in this global energy transition, to develop all types of distributed renewable energy, and to use hydrogen, nuclear and thermonuclear generation as a basic, centralized one. We have the scientific and technical potential, the necessary competencies and resources to solve this problem.
